Diskrete Differenzen: Experimente zur asubjektiven Bildungstheorie in einer selbstkritischen Moderne
Anselm BöhmerFor humankind, education is an understanding of one's self and the world. Motivated by the impulse of Czech dissident Jan Patocka's (1907-1977) »asubjective pedagogy«, Anselm Böhmer experiments with philosophico-educational drafts from history and (recent) modernity. He utilizes Patocka's educational theory in the current debates concerning education and competence and finds a distinct position in this discourse - precisely owing to discreet-appearing deviations. The following is made clear: that education should be compared less with the acquisition of competence and rather with feeling one's way through attempts to comprehend the self and the world.
