THE COMIC

The end of civilization came in the way no one expected, or could have been prepared for. A deadly virus first appeared in 2012. Almost instantly fatal, and spreading with the speed of panic across a stunned world, the virus targeted the female population of the human race. Women died at an alarming rate. Thousands, and the tens of thousands died daily. While scientists struggled to understand the nature of the microscopic invader, the remaining population could only stare in horror as the virus ravaged the Earth.

Unable to stop the virus from reaching every corner of the globe, the question shifted from prevention to survival of the species. When the virus finally started to abate, there was only one woman for every 5,000 men.
